Give to Flooded Churches

Several people have reached out to inquire how they might give to our local churches dealing with flood damage.  There are two options to give financially:

1) You can give through Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief at this link: https://www.kybaptist.org/flood/  – This link also has numerous suggestions on how to help those in need after a disastrous event like we’ve seen.

2) If you would like your resources to remain local then you can give directly to the Nelson Baptist Association by mailing your donations to: PO Box 275 Mt. Washington, KY 40047 and marking your donation with the words “Flood Relief.”  Churches with the most flood damage will be given priority.  The remaining funds will be sent to churches in flooded areas to assist their communities with cleanup.

Breakout Sessions:

1) But Now Christ Has Been Raised From The Dead by Tray Earnhart, Pastor of Cedar Grove Baptist Church – Do you believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from among the dead? Of course I do! I am not a heretic. After all, to deny the resurrection of Jesus places one outside the orthodox Christian faith. However, is that as far as we go? Is the resurrection of Jesus simply a test for Orthodoxy? We will attempt to move beyond the proof and try to understand the connection the Bible makes between the resurrection of Jesus and the daily life of a Christian.

2) The Resurrection in the Old Testament by Dr. James Hamilton, Professor of Biblical Theology at The Southern Baptist – More Details to Come!

Free Books (You’ll be able to pick one):

1) Risen: 50 Reasons Why the Resurrection Changed Everything by Steven D. Mathewson

2) The Kingdom Minded Pastor by Joel Littlefield
